Montréal's Cyclovias are back

Montrealers can enjoy a car-free environment and festive atmosphere once again this year during the Cyclovias. For a few hours on the weekend, enjoy being active with the whole family in a safe and healthy environment!
Cyclovia familiale du Sud-Ouest

Closing a street to cars makes for a perfect meeting place that promotes local business. Cyclovias, which have grown in popularity since they began in Ville-Marie and Le Sud-Ouest, are expanding into three new boroughs this year. Villeray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension, Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles will host Cyclovia, to the delight of their residents.

The event, which will celebrate its fifth edition next year, expects record participation this summer. The Cyclovia sportive Camilien-Houde will be held on five more dates this year than its first edition in 2017.

Montréal — 2019 Season

Ville-Marie — Cyclovia Camilien-Houde

For the third consecutive year, the Cyclovia Camilien-Houde (in French) will give athletes from all walks of life the chance to enjoy beautiful Mount Royal, its birds and its fresh air. 

Dates: June 16, July 14, August 4 and 25, September 8 and 29
Time: 7 a.m. to noon

Le Sud-Ouest

For a few hours, le boulevard Monk between Rue Saint-Patrick and Rue Raudot to welcome participants to the Cyclovias du Sud-Ouest (in French), whether they are on foot, skating or biking.

Dates: June 16, July 21, August 18 and September 15 
Time: 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.


The Cyclovia will be held on Rue Saint-Hubert between Rue Jean-Talon and Rue  Gounod.

Date: August 3
Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.


Participants in Ahuntsic-Cartierville can enjoy Rue Fleury between Avenue Papineau and Avenue Peloquin.

Date: September 15
Time: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.


Rivière-des-Prairies–Pointe-aux-Trembles Cyclovia has joined forces with Tous à vélo (in French) to organize a 10-km ride for families.

Date: June 15
Time: 9 a.m. to noon
